svchost.exe high CPU usage wuauserv
I am not sure if you know but process explorer you can double click the process or service and get a break down of the resources used, might help pinpoint whats using the most.
If you see wuauserv then:
Windows update might be crashed.
A quick way to see if it was indeed crashed is to stop ‘Windows update’ service and rename the C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder. Then start the service again, wait a few minutes to reindex installed updates and it should be fine.
