Chrome: manually add extension
Unpack it and side load it to chrome. CRX files are just archives (like ZIP and RAR).
Variant #1
►1) Rename that .crx file to .zip and extract it into any empty folder
►2) install it as unpacked zip files.
►3) open chrome://extensions and enable “developer mode”
►4) click on “load unpacked” and point to folder from #1
►5) enable extension if needed.
Variant #2
►1) Settings – icon -> Tools -> Extensions ( the ‘hamburger’ icon in the top-right corner )
►2) Enable Developer Mode ( toggle button in top-right corner )
►3) Drag and drop the ‘.crx’ extension file onto the Extensions page from step 1 ( crx file should likely be in your Downloads directory ) (you do not need to make zip or do any other thing just do drag and drop it will install automatically)
